Environmental Searches Local Search | Mining Search | Environmental Search | Commons Registration Search Full searches are not carried out as a matter of course but, taking into account the property's locality and other features, certain pre contract enquiries are made to ascertain whether the land, which the property was constructed on, has had previous use which could be classed as an environmental risk. However, should such an enquiry be conclusive this does not necessarily mean that there is a problem with the land, merely that there may be and this possibility may require further investigation. A decision whether to proceed in undertaking further investigations or withdraw must be the decision of the purchaser.
